Projects

Retail Shopping Centre

INCON was engaged to deliver structural engineering design and documentation for a mixed-use commercial development at 461–465 Torrens Road, Woodville Park SA. The project comprised a combination of restaurant, retail, and office tenancies, requiring a coordinated structural solution to accommodate varied functional requirements within a single development footprint.

Esplanade Hotel

Incon was engaged to deliver structural engineering services for the refurbishment and upgrade of the Esplanade Hotel in Brighton. The project involved a complex redevelopment of an operational hospitality venue, requiring careful integration of new structural elements within an existing building while maintaining compliance with current standards and minimising disruption to ongoing operations.

Tallebudgera Creek Park

Incon (Adelaide Structural Engineers) was engaged by Treadwell Group to provide independent structural design verification services for the Tallebudgera Creek Park Upgrade in Queensland. The project involved lightweight composite structural systems forming part of public-access infrastructure within a coastal park environment.

West Beach Apartments

Incon was engaged by Five Star Homes to deliver structural engineering design for a residential apartment development at 18 Rockingham Street, West Beach SA. The project involved a multi-dwelling residential building designed to optimise site utilisation while complying with planning, structural, and constructibility requirements.

Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project

Incon was engaged by Ventia to provide specialist structural design review services for the North–South Corridor: River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project, one of South Australia’s largest infrastructure developments. This major motorway upgrade forms a critical component of Adelaide’s transport network, involving complex tunnelling, motorway systems, and integrated infrastructure.

Eumundi Pedestrian Bridge and Boardwalk

Incon was engaged by DM Composites to provide fabrication Quality Assurance for the bridge manufacture, review, and certification of a pedestrian bridge and FRP boardwalk system at Seib Road and Eumundi–Noosa Road, Queensland. The project forms part of a Sunshine Coast Council active transport initiative, aimed at improving pedestrian and cyclist safety across the North Maroochy River corridor.

Beach Boardwalk Upgrade

Incon was engaged by DM Composites to deliver structural design review and certification for multiple FRP beach access ramps and platforms located at Glenelg and South Brighton Beach, South Australia. The project forms part of a coastal accessibility upgrade, improving safe public access between promenade levels and beach areas.

Residential building

Incon was engaged to provide structural engineering design and documentation for a residential development at 25 Cygnet Court, Glenelg North SA. The project involved a combination of new structural elements and integration with architectural requirements, delivering a contemporary residential solution with enhanced functionality and structural performance.

Self-Storage Facility

Incon was engaged by Jurkovic Group to deliver civil and structural engineering design for a large-scale, multi-level self-storage facility in Lonsdale, South Australia. The project represents a significant commercial development, aimed at maximising storage efficiency while maintaining structural integrity, durability, and compliance with Australian Standards and fire safety requirements.

Prospect Oval Players Race

Incon was engaged by the City of Prospect to undertake a comprehensive structural investigation, condition assessment, and detailed design for the remediation and upgrade of the Players Race at Prospect Oval. This project involved a heritage-listed structure forming a critical access corridor for players and officials within an active sporting venue.

Spotto Car Wash & Warehouse

Incon was engaged to deliver structural engineering design and documentation for a new car wash facility and associated warehouse development in Kidman Park. The project involved a multi-component commercial development integrating automated and self-service car wash systems with supporting operational infrastructure.

Community Centre and Hindu Temple

Incon was engaged as the Principal Civil and Structural Consultant to deliver stormwater management and site development engineering for a proposed community centre (Hindu Temple) in Munno Para Downs, South Australia. The project required a comprehensive stormwater strategy to support Development Application (DA) approval while balancing community needs, staged development, and site constraints.

I had a bit of a false start with a previous engineer, who wasn’t really meeting our requirements to get things underway. Engineers from Incon came to the rescue to some degree, because we were anxious to get things started. They were fantastic, jumped on it straight away, and has been very proactive problem solving many issues we encountered with this build.
